Senior Maintenance TechnicianELEC BIAS3 Shift Pattern (8 Hour Shifts)Salary c£43,000 plus shift supplementsAre you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician looking to take the next step in your career?We are recruiting a Senior Maintenance Technician to join our client's distribution centre based in Wakefield. This position is commutable from Wakefield, Leeds, Bradford, Barnsley and surrounding areas.This position is ideal for someone already working as a Senior Maintenance Technician or an individual looking to take the next step in their career. You will need to have an electrical bias and previous experience in an Automated Distribution Centre is preferred but not essential.Working with the wider Engineering Team, you will be involved in maintaining and improving a variety of automated equipment such as conveyors, high-speed packaging machinery, automated retrieval systems, palletisers and many more. You will be involved in both preventative and reactive maintenance activities to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum.This is a key role in the business, and you will manage the maintenance operations of the facility ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime and maximising efficiency.Key Responsibilities for a Senior Maintenance TechnicianPerform routine preventative and reactive maintenanceElectrically; System testing, field wiring, system calibration, interpreting circuit diagramsKnowledge of automated, electrical and pneumatics machineryStrong Attention to detailCMMS useService and repair of equipment on siteAdhere to Health & Safety GuidelinesWilling to learn and adapt to role requirements.Hands on ownership of issuesQualifications, Skills and Experience for a Senior Maintenance TechnicianMinimum Level 3 qualification Electrical QualificationTechnical department experience especially in maintenanceExperience with working on automated conveyor systemsConfidently read schematic diagramsA solid understanding of Health and Safety policiesTechnical knowledge of electrical/pneumatic/mechanical equipmentExcellent understanding of automated equipmentBoth Electrical and Mechanical skillsRoot cause analysis skillExperience with Siemens S7 Tia portal would be an advantageStrong CommunicatorOrganised and good time management skills.Salary and Benefits of a Senior Maintenance TechnicianSalary c£43,000 plus shift supplements3 Shift Pattern (Mornings, Afternoons, Nights)22 Days HolidayPensionDevelopment and trainingMedicashFor more information about the Senior Maintenance Technicians role please give the team a call on 07443 359151TPBN1_UKTJ
