Hyper-V Consultant, Security Cleared, Deploy/Configure, Cheshire, ASAP, £Good

We are looking for an experienced SC Cleared Hyper-V Consultant to support the deployment and validation of a new Microsoft Hyper-V environment. Working alongside the customer's technical team, you will assist with the implementation, testing and handover of a highly available Hyper-V infrastructure.

You must be SC Cleared in order to be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and configure Hyper-V hosts
\n
• Configure virtual Switches and networking
\n
• Validate storage connectivity
\n
• Build and configure Windows Failover Clusters
\n
• Configure cluster quorum
\n
• Create and test virtual machines
\n
• Demonstrate VM failover between hosts
\n
• Configure and validate Hyper-V Replica
\n
• Troubleshoot deployment issues
\n
• Deliver documentation and knowledge transfer
\n

Essential Experience:

• Strong Hyper-V administration and deployment experience
\n
• Windows Server and Failover Clustering expertise
\n
• Enterprise networking knowledge
\n
• Shared storage/SAN experience
\n
• Hyper-V Replica and disaster recovery experience
\n
• Previous infrastructure implementation consultancy experience
\n
