Salary: £39,879 - £43,901 + Overtime + Benefits

The Opportunity\n

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established industrial business based in Stoke-on-Trent.

\n

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across a wide range of industrial equipment, helping to maximise reliability, minimise downtime and support the safe operation of the site.

\n

Working as part of a close-knit engineering team, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving site performance while contributing to ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement activities.

The Role\n

Key responsibilities include:

    \n
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on on industrial electrical equipment.
  • \n
  • Responding to electrical breakdowns and carrying out fault finding and repairs.
  • \n
  • Diagnosing faults on industrial electrical equipment and control systems.
  • \n
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
  • \n
  • Carrying out electrical isolations and working within Permit to Work procedures.
  • \n
  • Supporting planned maintenance activities, outages and shutdowns.
  • \n
  • Working closely with operations and the wider engineering team to improve equipment reliability and site performance.
  • \n
  • Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping.
  • \n
About You\n

To be considered, you should have:

    \n
  • A recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent electrical qualification.
  • \n
  • Previous experience within an industrial electrical maintenance environment.
  • \n
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
  • \n
  • Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
  • \n
  • The ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
  • \n
  • Experience working safely within industrial maintenance environments.
  • \n

Engineers from sectors such as manufacturing, food & beverage, ceramics, building products, heavy industry, utilities, recycling, aggregates, cement, paper or other process industries are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours\n
    \n
  • 40 hours per week.
  • \n
  • 07:00 - 15:30.
  • \n
  • Four-week rotating pattern with only 1 weekend in 4 required.

  • Salary of £39,879 - £43,901.

  • Overtime paid at enhanced rates where applicable.
