We're looking for an ambitious Assistant Bakery Manager to join one of London's most exciting bakery and retail concepts.

Working alongside experienced leaders, you'll receive the training, support and development needed to progress into a Bakery Manager and, ultimately, General Manager role. From leading busy services to understanding the commercial side of the business, you'll gain hands-on experience across every aspect of the operation.

No two days are the same. One minute you'll be leading the team through a busy breakfast rush, the next you'll be analysing sales, coaching colleagues, improving standards and helping drive the continued success of an exciting and expanding brand.

As an Assistant Bakery Manager, you'll support the day-to-day running of the bakery while developing the skills needed to become a successful Bakery Manager and future General Manager.

• Support the day-to-day running of the bakery and retail operation

• Lead shifts with confidence and energy

• Maintain exceptional food hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness standards

• Assist with stock control, ordering, waste management and supplier relationships
\n
• Monitor labour, sales and operational KPIs
\n
• Develop your commercial understanding by supporting profitability and business performance
\n
• Handle customer feedback professionally and proactively
\n
• Support new product launches, seasonal campaigns and local marketing initiatives
\n
• Continuously look for ways to improve standards and efficiency
\n

• Lead by example and inspire those around you

• Coach and develop team members to reach their potential

• Create a positive, supportive and inclusive working environment

• Support recruitment, onboarding and training
\n
• Assist with rotas, attendance and performance management

• Work closely with senior leaders to build a high-performing team

• Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3
\n
• Experience as an Assistant Bakery Manager, Assistant Manager, Senior Supervisor, Shift Manager, Café Manager, Bakery Supervisor or similar leadership role
\n
• Experience working within hospitality, cafés, bakeries, restaurants or premium food retail
\n
• A hands-on leadership style with a positive attitude
\n
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
\n
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
\n
• Ambition to continue progressing into a Bakery Manager and General Manager position
\n
