Are you an experienced Accounts/Audit Senior looking to join a friendly and well-established accountancy practice?

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded firm in Bury St Edmunds that is looking to add an experienced Accounts/Audit Senior to its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with recent accountancy practice experience who enjoys working with a varied client portfolio and is looking to develop their career within a supportive environment.

The Role

As an Accounts/Audit Senior, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients while delivering high-quality accounting and audit services.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing statutory accounts for a wide range of clients.
\n
• Planning and carrying out audit assignments from start to completion.
\n
• Preparing corporation tax computations and returns.
\n
• Producing management accounts where required.
\n
• Supervising and supporting junior members of the team.
\n
• Liaising directly with clients and building strong professional relationships.
\n
• Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
\n

About You

To be considered, you will need:

\n
• Recent experience working within an accountancy practice (essential).
\n
• Experience preparing accounts and undertaking audit work.
\n
• ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience.
\n
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards.
\n
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
\n
• The ability to manage your own workload and work effectively within a team.
\n
• A proactive and professional approach to client service.
\n
