Job Description
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Hamilton and East Kilbride, is currently looking to recruit x 20 Clerical Assistants for initial 3 month contracts on rates of £13.84-£15.59 per hour. These roles will be fully based on-site.

Responsibilities
\n- Provide clerical support to the Business Unit ensuring a high level of security and confidentiality within the office to contribute to the effectiveness of the service.
\n- Process correspondence and other documentation in order to communicate and present service information in a clear and concise manner.
\n- Process and maintain sensitive information to pre-determined procedures and standards.
\n- Undertake specialist clerical activities in accordance with pre-determined procedures, instructions and standards to support the effective provision of the service.
\n- Extract data from job tickets, timesheets and stock lists, and accurately input to new repairs system.
\n- Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure the effective provision of the Business Unit.

Essential Skills:
\n- Experience of working within a busy office and fast paced environment
\n- Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages and experience of maintaining, populating and extracting data from spreadsheets and producing word documents
\n- Experience of inputting data to a housing repairs system
\n- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
\n- Ability to develop and learn new skills
\n- Ability to work under own initiative but also as part of a team
\n- Ability to share knowledge and information with others
\n- Self-motivated and able to work to a high standard with minimal supervision
\n- To work in a flexible, adaptable manner and to always act with discretion and tact
\n- To work in a high pace office environment and achieve set deadlines
\n- To behave with honesty and openness: treating people consistently, fairly and with respect
\n- Undertake mandatory training.

Desirable Skills:
\n- National Level 5 qualification or equivalent
