Estates & Facilities Transformation Consultant
\nJSS is currently partnered with a Higher Education client delivering a large-scale organisational transformation programme, including the design and implementation of a new Target Operating Model (TOM) across the institution.
\nWe are seeking an experienced Estates & Facilities Transformation Consultant to support the redesign of estates and facilities management processes, operating structures, and service delivery models, working closely with senior Estates, Facilities and Campus Services stakeholders.
\nThis role will focus on designing and embedding estates and facilities processes within the new TOM, with particular emphasis on areas such as planned and reactive maintenance, space and occupancy management, campus operations, facilities services, asset management, compliance, and contractor management. The programme has completed the "as-is" phase and is now moving into detailed "to-be" design. They are looking for proactive individuals who can take ownership, contribute to hands-on delivery, and drive process-led change across the Estates & Facilities function.

- 2-3 Days a week in London \n
Key Requirements:
\n- \n
- Proven experience delivering Estates & Facilities transformation within complex organisations, ideally within Higher Education, the public sector, or large multi-site environments. \n
- Strong experience designing and implementing end-to-end Target Operating Models across Estates, Facilities Management, Property, or Campus Services functions. \n
- Deep understanding of estates and FM processes, including planned and reactive maintenance, asset lifecycle management, compliance, contractor management, helpdesk/service management, and space utilisation. \n
- Experience supporting estates digitisation, smart campus initiatives, CMMS/CAFM implementations, or property technology transformation programmes. \n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence senior leadership, including Directors of Estates, Facilities Directors, and Programme Sponsors. \n
- Experience leading workshops, process mapping, service redesign, and business change activities. \n
- Ability to work on-site in London as required. \n
