Job Description

Project Controls professionals are needed for permanent roles in Bristol, supporting major infrastructure programmes where NEC contract experience is important.

This is a multi-level campaign, so applications are welcome from Project Controllers, Project Controls Managers etc. where the salary offered will depend on level, experience and fit.

\n


\n

This is not a general Project Manager role. The focus is project controls across cost, schedule, risk, change, reporting and performance management.

\n


\n

What you’ll be doing

\n


\n

Depending on your level, you will support or lead project controls activity across complex infrastructure programmes.

\n


\n

This may include:

\n


\n
    \n
  • Cost, schedule, risk, change and reporting controls
  • \n
  • Performance Measurement Baselines and Earned Value Management
  • \n
  • KPI reporting, project review packs and performance reporting
  • \n
  • Change control, risk integration and governance support
  • \n
  • Working with planners, cost engineers, risk managers and delivery teams
  • \n
  • Interpreting project data to support better decision-making
  • \n

What you’ll need

\n

    \n
  • Project controls, project control or programme controls experience
  • \n
  • NEC contract experience or experience working in NEC environments (essential)
  • \n
  • Infrastructure, construction or major programme experience
  • \n
  • Exposure to sectors such as defence, nuclear, energy, rail, highways, roads, water, utilities or wider infrastructure
  • \n
  • Knowledge of cost, schedule, risk, change, reporting and governance
  • \n
  • Experience with tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, cost tools or reporting systems
  • \n
\n


\n

This may suit a Project Controller, Project Controls Manager, Programme Controls Manager, Cost Controller, Planning Engineer or PMO professional with strong controls experience.

Applicants must be currently based in the UK and have the ongoing right to work in the UK.
