Cluster Manager
Job Description
This is a permanent, full-time, daytime position working Monday to Friday, offering a salary ranging from £95,000.00 to £105,000.00 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, plus a car allowance and a bonus.
\nTasks and responsibilities:
\nResponsible for acting as the senior operational and commercial owner for a key client account at cluster level, providing end-to-end leadership, governance and assurance across multiple distribution centres. Accountable for translating strategic objectives into consistent operational delivery, ensuring performance control, effective risk management and strong client confidence across the network. Acting as the primary interface between Site Managers, the Cluster Director and senior stakeholders, providing a clear, data-driven view of account performance while driving alignment across sites and ensuring consistent execution of the operating model.
\nAccount Ownership & Governance

- Own overall operational performance, stability, and delivery across the cluster \n
- Ensure consistent execution of operating models, standards, and commitments across all sites \n
- Provide clear, data-driven insight into performance, risks, and recovery actions \n
Stakeholder Management
\n- \n
- Act as the key escalation and leadership interface for senior stakeholders \n
- Build strong relationships through transparency, control, and delivery \n
- Provide regular updates on performance, risks, and opportunities \n
Operational Performance
\n- \n
- Drive performance across safety, service, productivity, cost, quality, and inventory \n
- Challenge site performance and ensure effective recovery plans are in place \n
- Align capacity, labour, systems, and infrastructure with business needs \n
Risk & Assurance
\n- \n
- Identify and manage operational and commercial risks proactively \n
- Ensure issues are resolved at root cause, not just locally \n
- Provide assurance on operational stability and control \n
Leadership
\n- \n
- Lead, coach, and develop Site Managers \n
- Drive consistency, accountability, and collaboration across sites \n
- Build capability and succession within the leadership team \n
Strategy & Change

- Translate strategy into clear, executable plans \n
- Lead transformation and continuous improvement initiatives \n
- Ensure change is delivered consistently and sustainably \n
Health & Safety & Compliance

- Promote a strong Health & Safety culture across the cluster \n
- Ensure full compliance with legal and internal standards \n
- Monitor and manage safety performance and risks \n
Profile:
