HFG is looking for a driven, ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our high-performing Actuarial team, placing top talent across the Insurance industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1– 3 years of 360 recruitment experience who’s ready to take ownership of a warm desk and build relationships with some of the most prestigious names in the insurance market.

About the Role:

As a Consultant on our Actuarial desk, you’ll be recruiting mid to senior-level professionals across various Actuarial/risk roles and related areas for global insurers, reinsurers, consultancies, and Lloyd's syndicates.

You’ll inherit a strong portfolio of clients and candidates, while also being given the support and freedom to grow your own relationships and niche within the Risk space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes across the Actuarial function
\n
• Develop and nurture relationships with clients and candidates
\n
• Attend client meetings, industry events, and networking sessions
\n
• Maintain and grow a candidate network of insurance professionals
\n
• Achieve individual and team revenue targets
\n
• Work closely with other consultants to cross-sell and collaborate
\n

What We’re Looking For:

• 1–3 years of 360 experience in recruitment (insurance or professional services)
\n
• A strong interest in the Insurance market – prior experience on Risk, Compliance, or Actuarial desks is a plus but not essential.
\n
• Self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
\n
• Ambition, resilience, and a desire to grow within a supportive environment
\n
