Vinyl Cutting Technician/Team Leader

My client, based in Gateshead are looking to expand their team with a permanent position for a vinyl cutting technician with some team leader duties.

Duties Include -

• Installing all types of internal and external signage, including fascia and post mounted signs
\n
• Leading a small vinyl application team, issuing work orders, managing performance reviews and managing production to suit deadlines.
\n
• Ensuring all installations are completed on time and to budget
\n
• Sign making, working with a wide range of substrates including dibond, acrylics, metals, wood vinyl and foamex
\n

Requirements -

\n
• Minimum of 2 years industry experience making and installing a wide range of signage solutions.
\n
• Experience in use of , vinyl plotters, and laminators, together with a strong understanding of signage techniques is essential.
\n
• Proven experience in a sign fitting role is necessary
\n
• Good working knowledge of design and cutting software, such as corel draw and signlab.
\n

Role is Monday - Friday, Dayshift
