A nurturing SEMH school in Wythenshawe is looking for a qualified Science teacher to join their close knit school.
\nThis is a unique opportunity to join this well established education group in supporting KS2, 3 and 4 pupils with diverse needs in learning Science. The school is looking for a Science teacher with proven experience of working with SEND or SEMH pupils. They provide a broad and balanced curriculum to promote engagement and individual progression.
\nYou'll be teaching in a completely new specialist site that's been designed to accomodate SEND learners, described by Ofsted as 'Prestine and Modern'.

\nAbout the role

- Deliver engaging Science lessons tailored to SEN students in small 5-7 pupil class sizes \n
- Integrate EHCP targets to support academic and personal growth \n
- Assess and track progress across academic, communication, social-emotional and independence skills \n
- Working hours: 8:15am - 4pm \n
- Starting in September \n
- Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 \n
Who we're looking for
\n- \n
- Experience of teaching SEN students, preferably in a SEN setting \n
- QTS or QTLS with ECT years passed \n
- Experience of adapting teaching to various needs \n
- Ability to work effectively in a team \n
- Adaptable, resilient and empathetic attitude \n
- Recognised degree in any subject \n
