THE ROLE:

\n

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Negligence Lawyer to join a well-established and respected specialist team on a part-time, fixed-term basis covering maternity leave. Working 3-4 days per week, you will manage a quality caseload of approximately 30 claimant clinical negligence matters, handling cases from inception through to conclusion.

The caseload includes a broad range of complex and sensitive claims, including misdiagnosis, psychiatric injury and fatal accident matters. You will have the autonomy to run your own files while working alongside experienced colleagues who provide ongoing support and expertise.

Your responsibilities will include investigating claims, reviewing and analysing medical evidence, identifying legal issues, preparing witness statements, schedules of loss and Particulars of Claim, instructing medical experts and Counsel, negotiating with defendants and insurers, and ensuring clients receive an exceptional level of care and communication throughout the litigation process.

THE CANDIDATE:

\n

Applications are welcomed from Solicitors or Legal Executives with a minimum of 3 years' experience handling claimant Clinical Negligence matters. You will have strong technical knowledge, be confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision and possess excellent organisational, communication and client care skills. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a specialist team while maintaining a proactive and commercial approach is essential.
