Job Description

Carrot Recruitment are supporting the recruitment of a 12-month contract position for Data Analytics Operations Manager / Clinical Trials Risk-Based Quality Manager to support the oversight and continuous improvement of clinical trials. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in clinical operations, data review, or quality oversight who is passionate about enhancing trial quality and ensuring patient safety who has extensive in RBQM.

Please be aware that although this is a 12 month contract, it is seen as a long term role and will likely renew for a further 12 months after the initial period.

Reporting into the functional manager and wider team working you'll have an ability to identify risk indicators and help facilitate the improvement of process and quality of clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Apply Risk-Based Quality Management (RBQM) principles to monitor and assess clinical trial risks.
  • \n
  • Review clinical data to identify trends, patterns, and emerging risks, and propose effective mitigations.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and track mitigation plans to resolution.
  • \n
  • Drive process improvements to strengthen trial quality and efficiency.
  • \n
  • Support inspection readiness and compliance with ICH-GCP and regulatory standards.
  • \n

Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit

\n
    \n
  • A degree in a relevant field such as life sciences (advanced degrees preferred).
  • \n
  • Experience in a RBQM focused position would be preferred but experience as a Lead Clinical Research Associate (CRA), Clinical Trial Manager (CTM), Clinical Data Analyst, or GCP Auditor will also be considered.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of clinical data review and ability to interpret data insights into risk mitigation actions.
  • \n
  • Project management skills to monitor and follow up on risk mitigation activities.
  • \n
  • Exceptional communication skills and organisational skills.
  • \n
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to spot patterns, trends, and systemic issues.
  • \n
  • Proven track record in improving trial processes and quality frameworks
