Event Manager
Job Description
Event Manager – Field Marketing Campaigns & Team Leadership
\nBasePoint | Full-time | London (On-site)
\nCompensation: £35,000 – £65,000 OTE
\nBring your event management experience into a role where you're not just planning the day — you're building and leading the team that delivers it.
\nBasePoint runs face-to-face marketing campaigns for major UK household brands — including EE, BT, and British Gas — across residential, event, and B2B settings. We're looking for an experienced Event Manager to take ownership of campaign delivery in the field and lead the team executing it on the ground.
\nThe Role
\nThis is a hands-on leadership position covering the planning and delivery of live field marketing activity, including residential campaigns, promotional events, and B2B engagements. Day to day, you'll be:
\n- \n
- Planning and managing the logistics of residential, event, and B2B campaign activity \n
- Leading, coaching, and motivating a team across multiple campaign settings \n
- Monitoring individual and team performance against campaign targets \n
- Acting as the main point of contact for brand standards and campaign quality on the day \n
- Identifying and developing the team's next generation of leaders \n
You'll be judged on results, not hours logged behind a desk.
\nTraining & Development
\nIncoming managers receive structured training in:
\n- \n
- Field campaign planning and logistics across residential, event, and B2B settings \n
- Coaching, feedback, and performance management \n
- Brand standards and quality control \n
- Leadership frameworks used across the business \n
Development continues well beyond onboarding — we invest heavily in the people running our teams.
\nProgression
\nEvent Manager is a leadership role in its own right, with a clear path beyond it. Strong performers go on to:
\n- \n
- Take ownership of larger or multiple campaigns \n
- Move into senior leadership and business development \n
- Shape training and standards across the wider team \n
The senior leaders across BasePoint today came up through exactly this route.
\nWho We're Looking For
\nYou're likely a strong fit if you:
\n- \n
- Have experience in event management, event coordination, or event operations \n
- Have led, coached, or managed a team before \n
- Are comfortable being accountable for results, not just activity \n
- Enjoy being hands-on and visible on the ground rather than managing from behind a desk \n
- Are organised, calm under pressure, and good at reading people \n
- Can commit to a full-time, on-site role in London \n
Experience specifically in field marketing, residential, or B2B campaigns is not required — we'll train you on our campaign model. What matters most is that you already know how to plan, run, and lead on the day.
\nA Few Practical Points
\n- \n
- Full-time, on-site role based in London \n
- Working hours vary depending on campaign and event schedules \n
- OTE reflects realistic on-target earnings for full-time performers \n
