A long-established independent firm of chartered accountants is looking to strengthen its tax team with the appointment of an experienced tax professional. This is a genuine succession opportunity, working alongside an experienced Tax Director, you'll receive the support and exposure needed to develop into a senior position, taking responsibility for both advisory and compliance work across a varied client portfolio.The firm has built an outstanding reputation over many yearswith exceptional retention rates.Working as part of a four-person tax team, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of personal and corporate tax matters, including:Personal and corporate tax complianceTax planning and advisory workManaging your own portfolio of clientsBuilding relationships with clients and acting as a trusted adviserWorking alongside the Tax Director with a clear succession plan into a senior roleThe client base is diverse and established, including:Sole traders and owner-managed businessesHigh net worth individuals, including clients with multi-million pound and nine-figure wealthUK companies with turnovers in the centi-millionsApplications are welcomed from candidates at a range of levels, including those studying towards CTA through to fully CTA qualified professionals and salary will be reflective of expeirence with £40,000 - £60,000 as a ballpark.IPS Finance has 45 years experience in the Yorkshire accountancy recruitment market.
