\n\nResponsibilities include:
\n- \n
- Produce accurate and compliant suitability reports across pensions, investments, protection and estate planning. \n
- Conduct technical research to support advisers in delivering tailored financial planning solutions. \n
- Analyse client information and make appropriate recommendations based on individual objectives. \n
- Prepare and review cashflow planning reports using financial planning software. \n
- Liaise with providers to obtain policy information, valuations and illustrations. \n
- Ensure all recommendations comply with FCA regulations and internal compliance standards. \n
- Support Financial Advisers before and after client meetings by preparing meeting packs and technical documentation. \n
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using the firm's CRM system. \n
- Keep abreast of legislative, regulatory and product changes within the financial planning sector. \n
- Manage your own workload effectively, ensuring deadlines and service standards are met. \n
- Build strong working relationships with advisers, administrators and external providers. \n
- Assist with complex cases and provide technical support across the wider financial planning team. \n
- Review and check documentation to ensure accuracy before submission. \n
- Contribute to continuous improvements in processes and client service delivery. \n

Skills and experience required:
\n• Experience: Minimum of 2 years proven experience in a paraplanning role or similar, writing complex and detailed reports.
\n• Qualifications: Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) or working towards is essential.
\n• Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of pensions/retirement planning, investments, tax planning and regulation within the financial services industry.
\n• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in an accessible manner.
\n• Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills in all aspects of the role, including multitasking and time management.
\n• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
\n• Regulatory Knowledge: A solid understanding of industry standards with a commitment to continuous learning and a proactive approach to developing and applying new skills.
\n• Proficient in Microsoft Office: High level of competency using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
