Management Accountant

We're delighted to be partnering with a well-established construction group to recruit a Management Accountant into a newly created position.

With turnover forecast to grow To £75m this year, several new companies launching and a major ERP implementation underway, it's an exciting time to join a business that's investing in its future.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you'll join a collaborative, long-standing finance team based in modern, state-of-the-art offices.

The Finance Director has been with the business for over 10 years, progressing from Finance Manager into their current role as the company has grown. You'll be joining an experienced finance team with exceptional staff retention, where collaboration comes naturally and support is always on hand.

This is a business where people build long-term careers, and with continued growth, you'll have the opportunity to get involved in projects that go beyond the traditional month-end cycle, including the rollout of a new ERP system and supporting several newly established group companies.

As Management Accountant, you'll be responsible for producing accurate financial information while supporting the continued growth of the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing monthly management accounts.
\n
• Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
\n
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting.
\n
• Assisting with month-end reporting.
\n
• Supporting the implementation of a new ERP system.
\n
• Helping establish finance processes across newly created companies.
\n
• Producing financial analysis and management reporting.
\n
• Supporting the wider finance team where required.
\n

You'll already have experience producing management accounts and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Applications are welcomed from Qualified by Experience (QBE), AAT, part-qualified and fully qualified accountants. Above all, we're looking for someone with strong technical ability, a proactive approach and a willingness to be part of a supportive team.

Experience within construction or knowledge of CIS would be advantageous but isn't essential.
