My client is seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis for a bank reconciliation project. This role is ideal for someone who can manage high-volume and multi-currency reconciliations with precision and efficiency.

Day-to-day of the role:

\n
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
\n
• Manage multi-currency bank accounts and resolve discrepancies.
\n
• Prepare and post journal entries.
\n
• Investigate and clear reconciling items efficiently.
\n
• Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks related to the project.
\n
• Ensure financial data is accurate and processed in line with internal controls.
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

\n
• Strong experience in bank reconciliation is essential.
\n
• Experience reconciling multi-currency accounts is essential.
\n
• Confident in preparing and posting journal entries.
\n
• Ability to manage high volumes of data accurately.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Able to work independently and manage workload during a short-term project.
\n
