• Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm / Friday: 8:00am - 2:00pm

HRGO Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company based in Chard. We are looking for an experienced TIG or MIG Welder to join their growing team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality TIG and/or MIG welding to a high standard.
\n
• Read and accurately interpret engineering drawings.
\n
• Set up and operate welding machinery safely and efficiently.
\n
• Produce precise, high-quality work that meets customer specifications.
\n
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
\n
• Work effectively as part of a team while managing your own workload.
\n

What We're Looking For

\n
• Previous experience in TIG and/or MIG welding.
\n
• Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings.
\n
• Experience setting up welding equipment and machinery.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
\n
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
\n
• Own PPE is essential, including Safety boots & Welding helmet
\n

Breaks:

\n
• 30-minute paid lunch break
\n
• Two unpaid 15-minute breaks (morning and afternoon)
\n

Pay & Benefits

• Competitive pay from £15.00 per hour, depending on experience.
