Join a well-established and highly respected specialist education organisation as the Head of Finance Business Partnering. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to lead strategic finance initiatives across a growing network of schools, academies, and college provisions supporting children, young people, and adults with additional learning needs.

Day-to-day of the role:

\n
• Lead and develop a team of Senior Finance Business Partners.
\n
• Review and challenge monthly management accounts across multiple sites.
\n
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, and financial planning.
\n
• Prepare consolidated financial reports, dashboards, and commentary for senior leadership.
\n
• Partner with school and academy leaders to provide commercial and strategic financial advice.
\n
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across financial processes and reporting.
\n
• Support risk management and financial governance across the organisation.
\n
• Deliver finance training and guidance to operational stakeholders.
\n
• Deputise for the senior finance leadership team when required.
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A recognised CCAB accounting qualification (part-qualified and AAT-qualified candidates with significant experience will also be considered).
\n
• Strong financial management, budgeting, and reporting experience.
\n
• Previous experience leading and developing finance teams.
\n
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
\n
• Advanced Excel and systems knowledge.
\n
• The ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
\n
• Experience within education, public sector, or multi-site organisations is highly desirable.
