Gleeson is proud to partner with a Global Automation Business currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to spearhead strategic growth initiatives.
\nThis pivotal role offers the opportunity to oversee complex, high-value projects spanning transport, warehousing, supply chain, and advanced automation, ensuring the business continues to scale with agility and precision.

\nKey Responsibilities

- Lead projects end to end, from initiation and planning through delivery and post-implementation review \n
- Establish clear project scope, milestones, timelines, and resource plans \n
- Ensure adherence to project governance frameworks and reporting requirements \n
- Serve as the main point of contact for allocated projects \n
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT teams \n
- Convert business and customer needs into well-defined project outcomes and deliverables \n
- Support product range management and full product lifecycle activities, including new product introductions \n
- Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to deliver timely, commercially viable product launches \n
- Contribute to purchasing and procurement initiatives that enhance value and operational efficiency \n
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks such as budget pressures, supplier delays, or resourcing constraints \n
- Proactively address issues to minimise commercial and operational disruption \n
- Monitor performance against KPIs, budgets, and delivery schedules \n
- Produce clear project updates and summary reports for senior stakeholders \n
- Leverage data and insights to inform decisions and support continuous improvement \n
Ideal Experience:

- Demonstrated experience in a Project Management role, ideally within FMCG, retail, or distribution sectors \n
- Excellent organisational skills, with experience managing multiple projects \n
- Experience working with suppliers and managing product lifecycles \n
- Project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, PMP) \n
