Production Quality Control InspectorWellingboruoghHours - Monday to Friday 12:00-20:30Salary - £Competitive DOEA well-established manufacturing business is seeking a Production / Manufacturing Quality Control Inspector to join their growing team. This is a hands-on, shop-floor based role working within a fast-paced production environment, ensuring products meet strict quality, safety, and specification standards before dispatch. You will be working closely with the Health & Safety and Quality Manager, supporting day-to-day quality assurance activity across the production lines. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being out in the factory environment rather than office-based QA work.The Role As a QC Inspector, you will be responsible for monitoring product quality throughout the manufacturing process, carrying out inspections, and ensuring all units meet required standards before leaving site. Key responsibilities include:\n

- Inspecting manufactured units on the production line for quality, accuracy, and finish \n
- Carrying out functional checks and basic testing of products \n
- Identifying defects, non-conformances, and raising issues for corrective action \n
- Recording inspection results and maintaining accurate quality documentation \n
- Working closely with production teams to resolve quality issues in real time \n
- Supporting continuous improvement activities across the shop floor \n
- Ensuring compliance with internal quality procedures and safety standards \n
- Escalating serious quality concerns to the Quality / H&S Manager \n
- Supporting general manufacturing quality control processes as required \n

- Previous experience in QC, inspection, production, or manufacturing environments \n
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects or inconsistencies \n
- A practical, hands-on approach to work on the shop floor \n
- Good communication skills when working with production teams \n
- Ability to follow processes and maintain accurate records \n
- Understanding of quality standards within a manufacturing setting \n
- A proactive attitude with confidence to raise issues when needed \n
