Rate: £19.00-£20.00 per hour (Umbrella)

Contract: Minimum 3 Months

Start Date: Immediate Start Available

Venn Group is currently recruiting for two Recovery Coordinator positions on behalf of a well-established national charity. These are excellent opportunities for experienced support professionals with a background in substance misuse services who are looking to make a real impact within the community.

\n

Recovery Coordinator (Floating Support)

\n

This role will support unallocated individuals requiring immediate intervention and engagement. Rather than holding a dedicated caseload, you will provide flexible support across the service, responding to emerging needs and ensuring vulnerable individuals receive timely assistance.

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Deliver recovery-focused interventions to service users with substance misuse support needs
  • \n
  • Engage and support unallocated clients across the service
  • \n
  • Complete risk assessments, safeguarding referrals, and support plans
  • \n
  • Manage complex and high-risk situations appropriately
  • \n
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate case notes and service records
  • \n
  • Promote positive outcomes and long-term recovery
  • \n

Requirements

\n
    \n
  • Previous experience working in a Recovery Coordinator or similar support role
  • \n
  • Working knowledge of drug and alcohol misuse services
  • \n
  • Experience delivering interventions and managing risk
  • \n
  • Enhanced Adult DBS (or willingness to obtain)
  • \n
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable
  • \n

Young People's Recovery Coordinator

\n

This role will focus on supporting young people aged 24 and under who require more intensive intervention. Due to the complexity of cases, caseloads are smaller, allowing for a more personalised and targeted approach.

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Manage a small caseload of young people with substance misuse support needs
  • \n
  • Deliver tailored interventions and recovery support plans
  • \n
  • Undertake risk assessments and safeguarding duties
  • \n
  • Work closely with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes
  • \n
  • Support young people to access education, training, employment and wider support services
  • \n
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records
  • \n
  • Travel across the local area to meet service users and partners
  • \n

Requirements

    \n
  • Experience working with young people is highly desirable
  • \n
  • Knowledge of drug and alcohol misuse services
  • \n
  • Previous experience in a Recovery Coordinator, Key Worker or similar support role
  • \n
  • Strong safeguarding and risk management experience
  • \n
  • Enhanced Adult & Child DBS (or willingness to obtain)
  • \n
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable
  • \n
