The Interim Head of Compliance & Risk

• Develop the organisation's risk management framework and policies.
\n
• Monitor and assess potential risks, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are in place.
\n
• Provide guidance and training to teams on risk and compliance matters.
\n
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
\n
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to evaluate risk levels and address gaps.
\n
• Collaborate with senior leaders to integrate risk management into strategic planning.
\n
• Prepare detailed reports and updates for stakeholders and the leadership team.
\n
• Oversee incident management and ensure appropriate responses to any risk-related events.

Profile

A successful Interim Head of Risk should have:

• Extensive experience in risk management ideally within the retail industry.
\n
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance requirements ideally knowledge of FCA compliance, health & safety, insurance.
\n
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
\n
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
\n
• The ability to analyse complex information and make sound decisions.
\n
• A professional qualification or relevant degree in a related field.
\n
