The Company you will be working with;

MTrec Recruitment are proudly representing our prestigious client on their search for a highly experienced and proactive Warehouse and Purchasing Clerk to join their team on a full time and permanent basis. This role is ideal for anyone who is on a senior level and is able to successfully run their own department. The company are looking for someone who can work to their own initiative with minimal supervision and is self-motivated. The Role you will be doing;

    \n
  • Create and Raising purchase orders for goods in/out for Europe and UK
  • \n
  • Monitor inventory levels and reordering stock when required
  • \n
  • Request quotes from suppliers and compare prices
  • \n
  • Stock control
  • \n
  • Communicate with vendors regarding orders, deliveries and pricing
  • \n
  • Maintain supplier and purchasing records
  • \n
  • Enter inventory and purchasing data into ERP systems
  • \n
  • File and maintain purchasing and shipping documentation
  • \n
  • Prepare reports on inventory levels, purchasing activity and stock usage
  • \n
  • Coordinate with production to ensure materials are available
  • \n
  • Answer emails and phone calls related to orders and deliveries
  • \n
  • Able to work fully on site Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30

About You;

\n
    \n
  • You must have worked in a Manufacturing environment
  • \n
  • Previous experience in Warehousing/Purchasing role
  • \n
  • Experience using ERP System
  • \n
  • SAP experience is preferred but not essential
  • \n
  • Forklift driving license is preferred but not essential
  • \n
  • Inventory Management experience
  • \n
  • Purchasing and procurement knowledge
  • \n
  • Data Entry Accuracy
  • \n
  • Able to be a self-starter and work to own initiative with minimal supervision
  • \n
  • Excellent communication skills and professional telephone manner
  • \n
