Production Operator

Responsibilities:

• The production operator will operate filling lines efficiently, ensuring products are manufactured to the required quality and output standards
\n
• ?The production operator will carry out size changes and line setup adjustments to support different production runs
\n
• ?The production operator will maintain high standards of housekeeping to ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment
\n
• ?Adhere to all health and safety procedures, contributing to a safe workplace culture
\n
• ?Operate material handling equipment, including stacker trucks, where required
\n
• ?The production operator will perform picking and packing duties accurately to meet order and dispatch requirements
\n
• ?The production operator will complete quality control checks, including QC sign-off against Bills of Materials (BOM)
\n
• ?Conduct pass-off checks for products (e.g., paint) to ensure compliance with specifications
\n
• ?Report near misses and support continuous improvement in safety practices
\n
• ?The production operator will complete T-card board tasks and ensure all production paperwork is accurately filled out and maintained to standard
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• Good understanding of production processes and experience working within a manufacturing or production environment, with paint filling line experience desirable but not essential.
\n
• ?Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team while also using initiative to complete tasks independently.
\n
• ?Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced production environment, maintaining productivity and quality standards at all times.
\n
• ?Commitment to quality, taking ownership of work and ensuring all products and processes meet site quality requirements.
\n
• ?Flexible and willing to undertake a variety of production duties, including picking, packing, and supporting operational requirements as needed.
\n
• ?Ability to package products accurately and efficiently, ensuring production targets and customer requirements are achieved.
\n
• ?Strong attention to detail, with experience accurately completing production documentation and reporting any issues, defects, or concerns to supervisors in a timely manner.
\n
• ?Good understanding of health and safety procedures, with a commitment to following site policies and maintaining a safe working environment.
\n
• ?Positive and proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn new processes, develop skills, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.??

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer.

• ?Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. occasionally (e.g. files, boxes of documents).

• ?Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
\n
• ?Visual activity required for reviewing documents, spreadsheets, and computer screens.

• ?Occasional standing, walking, and reaching within the office environment.
