Job Description

Senior Commercial Property Manager – West End, London

\n

\n

Our client is an independent commercial property management firm based in the West End, and one of the sector's genuine growth stories. Having built a strong reputation managing everything from single high-net-worth assets to institutional-grade portfolios, they're now scaling fast and looking for a Senior Property Manager to take real ownership of a diverse commercial book. This is a business where decisions get made quickly, ideas get heard, and the people who join early in this growth phase tend to go a long way.

You'll run your own portfolio end to end – client relationships, budgets, compliance, contractor management – and act as a genuine advisor rather than an administrator. There's a mentoring element too, supporting more junior members of the team, and plenty of scope to shape how things get done as the business expands.

\n
    \n
  • Manage a varied commercial portfolio, staying close to clients and keeping them properly informed
  • \n
  • Pull together reports, budgets and recommendations for both clients and the Directors
  • \n
  • Handle lease events – renewals, rent reviews, assignments, dilapidations – alongside legal advisors
  • \n
  • Own service charge budgets and reconciliations, flagging efficiencies where you see them
  • \n
  • Carry out site inspections and keep on top of maintenance, safety and compliance standards
  • \n
  • Negotiate and manage supplier and contractor relationships
  • \n
  • Mentor junior team members and help raise standards across the team
  • \n
  • Feed insight back to the Directors on performance and where the business can improve
  • \n

Ideally you'll have at least three years in commercial property management with some managerial experience already under your belt, comfortable working across a client base that spans private individuals and institutional funds. MRICS (or working towards it) is a plus, as is a confident handle on property management software. Above all, this suits someone who wants to build something rather than just maintain it.
