HOME MANAGER
\nLOCATION: Ayrshire, Scotland
\nCompass Associates are supporting a well-established care provider in the appointment of an experienced Home Manager to lead a large, established care home providing residential, nursing and dementia care.
\nThis is an opportunity to inherit a service with strong foundations, an experienced core team and a respected local reputation, while taking responsibility for driving the next phase of quality, leadership and operational improvement.
\nTHE ROLE
\nAs Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the leadership, performance and culture of the home.
\nWorking closely with the Regional Director and wider operational support functions, you will provide visible, hands-on leadership and lead the service through its next phase of development.
\nKey priorities will include:

- Driving improvements in quality and regulatory performance \n
- Developing a high-performing and accountable leadership team \n
- Strengthening nurse recruitment, retention and development \n
- Enhancing resident and family experience \n
- Increasing occupancy and community engagement \n
- Embedding a positive, values-led culture throughout the home \n
- Delivering strong operational and financial performance \n
- Building confidence, stability and consistency across the service \n
The home has significant strengths already in place, as well as a genuine opportunity for the right leader to improve consistency, strengthen clinical oversight, develop the team and enhance the overall resident experience.

\nThis opportunity will suit an experienced and resilient Home Manager who understands how to build confidence, create stability and inspire teams to achieve their best.
\nYou will bring:
\n- \n
- Previous experience as a Home Manager within a nursing, residential or dementia care setting \n
- A strong track record of delivering quality improvements and positive inspection outcomes \n
- Experience building and retaining high-performing teams \n
- Excellent leadership, coaching and communication skills \n
- Commercial awareness and confidence managing budgets and occupancy \n
- The ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals and regulators \n
- Confidence managing change while maintaining team engagement \n
- A nursing qualification would be advantageous but is not essential \n
- Most importantly, you will be a visible leader who leads with integrity, compassion and accountability. \n

\nCANDIDATE SUITABILITY NOTE
\nThis role requires previous experience as a Home Manager within a nursing, residential or dementia care setting.
