Raw Materials Planner
Job Description

\nWe're looking for a detail-oriented Materials Planner to join a growing food manufacturing business, supporting both New Product Development and site-wide packaging purchasing.
\nKey Responsibilities:

- Materials planning across the site \n
- Managing the purchasing of materials for the New Product Development team, ensuring the right supplier is found, at the right price, first time \n
- Reporting on waste and leading waste meetings \n
- Responsible for supplier scorecards — ensuring deliveries are made on time and in full, while monitoring supplier performance \n
- Purchasing packaging for the site \n
- Administration and maintenance of supplier contracts \n
- Providing cover for the wider Planning Team as and when required \n
Requirements:

- A minimum of two years' experience in materials planning \n
- Experience of working in the food industry would be beneficial \n
- Strong Excel skills \n
- Experience working with MRP systems (M3 would be preferred) \n
- Confident in dealing with both internal and external stakeholders \n
