As the portfolio continues to expand, our client is seeking an experienced Group People & Culture Director to join its London Head Office. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a rare opportunity to shape the people strategy of an ambitious international hospitality business during an exciting period of growth.

The Group People & Culture Director will lead the strategic and operational people agenda across the organisation, ensuring the business continues to attract, develop and retain exceptional talent while nurturing a culture that reflects the company's values and vision.

Working closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team, the successful candidate will drive organisational development, employee engagement, leadership capability and cultural initiatives across a multi-property, international portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the Group's People & Culture strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's growth plans and business objectives.
  • \n
  • Partner with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team as a trusted advisor on all people-related matters.
  • \n
  • Champion an engaging, inclusive and high-performing culture across all hotels and corporate teams.
  • \n
  • Lead talent acquisition, succession planning and leadership development initiatives across the Group.
  • \n
  • Drive employee engagement, wellbeing and recognition programmes.
  • \n
  • Develop and implement performance management, learning and development and talent management frameworks.
  • \n
  • Support organisational design, workforce planning and change management initiatives.
  • \n
  • Provide strategic guidance on employee relations, employment legislation and HR best practice across multiple jurisdictions.
  • \n
  • Mentor and develop the People & Culture teams across the portfolio, ensuring consistency while recognising the individuality of each property.
  • \n
  • Utilise people analytics and workforce insights to support business decisions and measure organisational performance.
  • \n
  • Strengthen the employer brand, helping position the business as an employer of choice within luxury hospitality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior People & Culture leadership role within hospitality, luxury, leisure or a multi-site service-led business.
  • \n
  • Experience leading people strategy across multiple properties and ideally international operations.
  • \n
  • A commercially minded leader with the ability to influence and partner with executive stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of organisational development, employee engagement and talent management.
  • \n
  • Experience leading change and supporting business growth.
  • \n
  • Excellent leadership, coaching and communication skills.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law; international HR experience would be advantageous.
