Health Safety Environment Advisor
Job Description
HSEQ Advisor (Manufacturing/Engineering)- An established engineering manufacturer is looking to appoint an experienced HSEQ Officer / technician /Advisor.
\nThis role supports the implementation and continuous improvement of Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality systems across two engineering sites, ensuring compliance and promoting best practice. You’ll be primarily based on site near Neath in Wales with a requirement to be onsite at the South London site for 3–4 consecutive days per month.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nHealth & Safety (ISO 45001):
\n- \n
- Support ISO 45001 H&S systems \n
- Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments \n
- Support compliance with UK H&S legislation \n
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions \n
- Deliver inductions, training and toolbox talks \n
Quality (ISO 9001):
\n- \n
- Support ISO 9001 quality systems \n
- Perform internal audits and support external audits \n
- Manage non-conformances and corrective actions \n
- Maintain inspection and calibration records \n
Environmental (ISO 14001):
\n- \n
- Support ISO 14001 environmental systems \n
- Monitor waste handling and sustainability initiatives \n
- Ensure environmental compliance \n
Cross-site:
\n- \n
- Travel between the Wales and London sites (including 3–4 consecutive days/month onsite in London) \n
- Standardise procedures and support continuous improvement across both sites \n
Requirements
\nEssential:
\n- \n
- Proven experience in a similar HSEQ role (manufacturing/engineering) \n
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 \n
- Strong understanding of relevant UK H&S and environmental legislation \n
- Excellent organisational and communication skills \n
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office) \n
- Full UK driving licence \n
Desirable:

- NEBOSH (or membership/qualification with a relevant H&S body) \n
