\nSalary: £90,000 – £100,000 + 35% Bonus
\nLocation: London (Hybrid)
\nAn independent strategy consultancy specialising in the food and consumer sectors is looking to hire a Strategy Manager to lead high-impact strategy engagements and commercial due diligence projects for private equity and corporate clients.
\nThis firm is known for combining deep sector expertise with a people-first culture, offering exposure to complex, senior-level work without the long hours and burnout often associated with larger consultancies.
\nAs a Strategy Manager, you will take a leadership role across projects, working directly with Partners and clients while guiding analysts and consultants through complex commercial questions across the food value chain.
\nWhat You’ll Be Doing

- Leading commercial and operational due diligence for private equity transactions \n
- Managing end-to-end strategy engagements across growth strategy, market entry, and value creation \n
- Structuring complex problems and guiding teams through market analysis, customer segmentation, and competitive assessments \n
- Overseeing market modelling, commercial analysis, and financial scenario testing \n
- Synthesising insights into clear, compelling strategic recommendations for investment committees and boards \n
- Managing project teams and supporting the development of Analysts and Consultants \n
- Building trusted relationships with private equity and corporate clients \n
What They’re Looking For
\n- \n
- 6–9 years’ experience in strategy consulting, commercial due diligence, or transaction advisory \n
- Strong experience leading CDD projects or strategic engagements within Food/Consumer Industry \n
- Excellent analytical, modelling, and problem-structuring capabililities \n
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and deliver client-facing workstreams \n
- Interest in food, consumer, or FMCG sectors \n
- A clear, structured communicator who can translate complex analysis into strategic insight \n
- Someone who thrives in collaborative, high-performance environments without aggressive internal competition \n
