\nAre you an experienced Project Manager with a background in UK Defence or Ministry of Defence programmes?

\nWe're looking for a CAVS Project Manager to play a key role in delivering the UK's next generation of military collective training capability. Working within the OMNIA Training consortium, you'll help transition and deliver the Combined Arms Virtual Simulation (CAVS) capability as part of the Army Collective Training Service (ACTS), supporting one of the UK's most significant Defence training programmes.
\nThis is an opportunity to work alongside leading Defence organisations including Raytheon UK, Rheinmetall, Capita, Skyral and Cervus, helping shape the future of British Army training.
\nThe Role:
\nAs CAVS Project Manager, you'll be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering critical elements of the CAVS programme, ensuring resources, stakeholders and delivery teams are aligned to meet programme objectives.
\nYou'll work closely with Defence customers, programme leadership, technical teams and delivery partners to ensure successful project execution from transition through operational delivery.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Lead the planning and delivery of CAVS project activities. \n
- Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules. \n
- Coordinate multiple Defence stakeholders across the programme. \n
- Manage project risks, issues and dependencies. \n
- Work with PMO teams to monitor budgets, reporting and governance. \n
- Support resource planning across technical and operational teams. \n
- Coordinate third-party suppliers and delivery partners. \n
- Support change requests and continuous improvement initiatives. \n
- Work alongside engineering teams delivering complex Defence technology solutions. \n
Essential Experience:
\nWe are particularly interested in candidates with:
\n- \n
- Significant Project Management experience within the UK Defence sector. \n
- Experience delivering programmes for the Ministry of Defence (MOD) or Defence Prime Contractors. \n
- Strong understanding of Defence governance, programme controls and project reporting. \n
- Experience managing complex stakeholder environments. \n
- Ability to work across technical, operational and commercial teams. \n
- Experience delivering projects within highly regulated environments. \n
Highly Desirable:
\n- \n
- Experience supporting UK Military Training or Simulation programmes. \n
- Knowledge of UK Defence procurement processes and standards. \n
- Experience working with Defence frameworks and programme governance. \n
- Understanding of systems integration, engineering or technical development environments. \n
- Experience implementing new Defence training solutions. \n
Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Recognised Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent), or substantial relevant project delivery experience. \n
Security Requirements:
\nDue to the nature of the work, applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance.
