Job Description
Reporting to: HR Business Partner UK (Solid Line) / Local UK Management (Dotted Line)
\nSupport: External HR Services Partner (acting as HR Assistant)
\nRole Purpose:
\nThe HR Advisor is responsible for managing and delivering key HR processes and supporting the business across all people-related matters. This role reports directly to the HR Business Partner UK, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to Local UK Management.
\nThe HR Advisor will manage day-to-day HR operations and ensure compliance with UK employment law, while also acting as a key local HR contact for employees and management. Administrative support will be provided by an externalised HR services partner acting in an HR Assistant capacity & legal support.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\nUK Payroll Management:
\n- \n
- Ensure accuracy in payroll calculations and communicate them to the payroll provider \n
- Act as the main point of contact for employee payroll queries. \n
Recruitment Coordination:
\n- \n
- End to end recruitment processes with support of the external HR provider, as required by the business. \n
- Ensure alignment with internal recruitment policies and Group hiring guidelines. \n
- Manage relations with temporary workers agencies \n
Employee Relations & HR Advisory:
\n- \n
- Provide day-to-day support and advice to employees and managers on employment matters, policies, and procedures. \n
- Manage employee relations cases (grievances, disciplinary issues, performance concerns) in line with UK employment law and company policy. \n
- Support local management with employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives. \n
Employee Development & Performance Management:
\n- \n
- Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, and year-end reviews. \n
- Identify development needs in line with business and individual requirements. \n
- Implement and track employees’ development plans. \n
HR Administration & Support:
\n- \n
- Coordinate and Monitor administrative tasks performed by the external HR services provider acting as HR Assistant (e.g., contract management, employee file maintenance, onboarding/offboarding processes, salary letters, offer letters). \n
- Ensure HR data accuracy and timely completion of all administrative HR activities. \n
Collaboration with group HR Team:
\n- \n
- Align local HR activities with Group HR policies, processes, and initiatives with the support of the HRBP \n
- Provide regular reporting and updates to the HRBP on UK HR matters. \n
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed. \n
Skills and Competencies Required:
\n- \n
- CIPD qualified HR Professional with 5 years of experience in a HR Generalist role \n
- Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices. \n
- Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll processes. \n
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy. \n
- Excellent communication and partnership skills \n
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across different teams and reporting lines. \n
The position is based in Lancing (West-Sussex), with 2 days a week in Bordon (Hampshire).
