Interim Commercial Counsel (UK & Europe) (remote)

MLA is working with a PE-backed global technology business that helps leading manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies and multinational organisations navigate complex regulatory, compliance and sustainability challenges through a market-leading data and software platform.

Due to a current need within the legal team, they're looking to appoint an Interim UK Regional Counsel to support their UK and European operations.

This is a broad, hands-on role where you'll:

• Draft, negotiate and advise on a wide range of commercial agreements, including SaaS, licensing, supplier and sales contracts.
\n
• Partner with stakeholders across Sales, Finance and the wider business on day-to-day legal matters.
\n
• Support corporate governance, company secretarial and regional compliance activities.
\n
• Work closely with legal colleagues across Europe and the US in a highly collaborative environment.
\n
• Help drive efficiencies across contracting processes, templates and legal operations as the business continues to scale.
\n

What they're looking for:

\n
• England & Wales qualified lawyer
\n
• Around 2-5 years' PQE
\n
• Strong commercial contracts experience
\n
• Prior in-house experience preferred
\n
• Exposure to SaaS, technology, information services or subscription-based businesses would be highly advantageous.
\n
• Pragmatic, commercially minded and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
\n
