We're currently supporting a leading global financial institution with the growth of its Structured Finance Credit Risk team in London.

Joining a high-performing Second Line Credit Risk function, you'll be responsible for the assessment, approval and ongoing monitoring of complex structured finance transactions across the EMEA region, working closely with front office teams and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

    \n
  • Assess, analyse and approve complex structured finance credit transactions.
  • \n
  • Prepare high-quality credit papers, risk recommendations and internal approvals.
  • \n
  • Monitor an existing portfolio, identifying emerging risks and recommending appropriate actions.
  • \n
  • Partner closely with Front Office and Product teams, providing independent credit challenge and guidance throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • \n
  • Present recommendations and briefing materials to senior management and credit committees.
  • \n
  • Support the development of junior team members and contribute to wider portfolio and policy initiatives.
  • \n
  • Stay abreast of market developments across structured finance, securitisation and asset-backed lending.
  • \n

Requirements

\n
    \n
  • Experience within Credit Risk at a bank or financial institution.
  • \n
  • Strong background in Structured Finance, Securitisation and/or Structured Products.
  • \n
  • Demonstrable experience assessing and underwriting complex credit transactions.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of credit risk principles, financial analysis and transaction structures.
  • \n
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • \n
