Interim Commercial Lawyer

Commercial Legal Counsel | Luxury Retail | In-House | London

We’re working with one of the UK’s leading luxury fashion brands to hire a Commercial Legal Counsel for an immediate start on an initial 3-month contract. The role will be hybrid, with three days per week based in London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a scaling, internationally expanding business and work closely with the General Counsel, playing a key role in supporting growth and further developing the legal function.

The Role

This is a broad, generalist position offering exposure across:

• Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
\n
• Advising on day-to-day business matters across e-commerce, retail, marketing, and operations
\n
• Supporting compliance (data protection, consumer law, H&S)
\n
• Managing brand protection initiatives
\n
• Contributing to international expansion and new store rollouts
\n
• Developing legal templates, policies, and playbooks
\n
• Supporting legal tech / AI implementation
\n
• Assisting with corporate governance and company secretarial work
\n

About You

\n
• UK qualified lawyer
\n
• Strong commercial contracts experience within retail, fashion or consumer brands
\n
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
\n
• Commercially minded with the ability to deliver pragmatic, business-focused advice
\n
• Exposure to data protection/privacy
\n
