Catastrophic Injury Associate / Senior Associate (Claimant) – London (Hybrid) / Remote
\nSenior level (6+ PQE guide) | Salary up to £95,000 + excellent bonus & benefits
\nA specialist claimant Serious Injury practice is recruiting an experienced lawyer to join its growing team, with the option of being based from a new London office (hybrid) or working fully remote from elsewhere in the UK. The role offers genuine autonomy, sensible caseloads and the support of a multi-disciplinary setup focused on long-term client outcomes.
\nThe role
\n\n
You will take day-to-day ownership of complex, high-value catastrophic injury claims and drive strategy across the lifecycle of each case. Duties will include:

- Leading serious injury matters from early liability investigations through to settlement and, where required, litigation \n
- Setting case strategy on liability, causation and quantum, including evidence planning and expert selection \n
- Managing rehabilitation and interim funding strategy to support clients and families at the earliest stage \n
- Instructing and working closely with medical experts, counsel, case managers, care/OT experts and financial advisers \n
- Drafting key documents including pleadings, schedules, witness evidence and settlement materials \n
- Building strong client relationships and delivering an exceptional client care experience \n
- You’ll be supported by, and supervise/coach, a qualified solicitor on your caseload, alongside a paralegal who will assist with day-to-day administration and file management. \n
What you’ll need
\n- \n
- Qualified solicitor or legal executive (or equivalent), operating at Associate/Senior Associate level in claimant serious injury \n
- Proven track record running high-value catastrophic injury files with complex liability and quantum issues \n
- Strong litigation experience and confident working knowledge of court procedure and case management \n
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills \n
- A client-first approach and the credibility to represent the practice externally within the serious injury sector \n
- Experience mentoring or developing junior colleagues is beneficial \n
Working pattern and location

- London office option (hybrid) for those who want an office base \n
- Also open to fully remote / home-based candidates across the UK \n
- Occasional travel for key client commitments, mediations, conferences or team collaboration (role dependent) \n
