Class 1 HGV Driver

Berry Recruitment are looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver in the Peterborough area. Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 05:00 - 16:00 48 Hours a week. RESPONSIBILITIES Wear correct PPE Vehicle is legally compliant Check systems, vehicles, equipment, tools and machinery before use - report defects Know your vehicle Carry correct licence/DCPC/Tacho card Use a reversing assistant (when available) Correct vehicle position and safe vehicle loading Prevent and report overweight vehicles Personal safety & that of the crew and people around them Vehicle is clean Report service, safety and environmental issues Stop the job if it's unsafe, report to your Supervisor Complete drivers debriefSKILLS and EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE Effective Communication - Foundation Time Management - Foundation Driving a large/LGV vehicles Waste industry desirable Team working Please contact Molly Ford at Berry Recruitment King's Lynn if interested.
