We Do Group is supporting a growing, multi-site organisation to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager into its established finance function.

\n

\n

This is an excellent opportunity to join a complex business where you'll take ownership of financial reporting, statutory accounts and financial controls while playing a key role in driving continuous improvement across the finance function.

\n

We're looking for a technically strong, qualified accountant who enjoys combining high-quality financial reporting with process improvement, team leadership and stakeholder engagement.

\n

This position reports into the Group Financial Controller and works closely with senior finance leaders across the wider business, ensuring the organisation delivers accurate reporting, robust financial controls and a best-in-class reporting function.

The Role

\n

The successful Financial Reporting Manager will lead the following:

\n

  • Owning the month-end and year-end reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of consolidated management accounts
  • \n
  • Leading the preparation of statutory financial statements and managing the external audit process
  • \n
  • Taking ownership of group consolidations across a complex multi-entity environment
  • \n
  • Maintaining balance sheet integrity through robust reconciliations, controls and governance
  • \n
  • Providing technical accounting guidance, ensuring compliance with FRS102 and internal accounting policies
  • \n
  • Driving continuous improvements across financial reporting, controls and finance processes
  • \n
  • Supporting finance transformation initiatives, including automation and reporting enhancements
  • \n
  • Developing and mentoring the financial reporting team, creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • \n
  • Producing insightful financial analysis to support senior leadership and business decision making
  • \n
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to continually improve the quality and efficiency of financial reporting
  • \n

Your Profile

\n

We are looking for a technically strong finance professional who enjoys taking ownership and delivering high-quality financial reporting within a complex organisation.

\n

\n

You'll combine excellent attention to detail with the ability to communicate confidently with senior stakeholders, interpreting technical accounting issues into clear commercial outcomes.

\n

\n

The successful candidate will be proactive, organised and delivery-focused, with a passion for improving processes, developing people and creating a finance function that supports continued business growth.

\n

\n

This role could be suitable for someone making their first move from an accounting firm if they have had exposure to audit and financial reporting. Alternatively an industry trained professional would also fit.

\n

Salary & Benefits

\n

£65,000 plus bonus, pension, healthcare and a comprehensive benefits package.

\n

This hybrid role is based in Leatherhead, requiring approximately three days per week in the office
