A highly regarded London law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Paralegal to join its busy and successful property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive paralegal with residential conveyancing experience to work closely with an experienced fee-earner, supporting a broad range of high-quality property transactions from instruction through to completion and post-completion.

The Role

You will play a key role in assisting with the day-to-day management of residential conveyancing matters, providing both legal and administrative support throughout the transaction lifecycle. Working within a collaborative and fast-paced team, you will gain exposure to a varied caseload and benefit from genuine opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to post-completion
\n
• Opening files and carrying out AML and compliance checks
\n
• Assisting with exchange, completion and post-completion formalities
\n
• Preparing reports on title, mortgage documentation and searches under supervision
\n
• Raising and reviewing enquiries on title, contract packs, searches and surveys
\n
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors to progress transactions efficiently
\n
• Drafting financial statements and invoices
\n
• Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
\n

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience supporting residential conveyancing matters within a law firm
\n
• A strong understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction through to completion
\n
• Experience raising enquiries, reviewing replies and assisting with report drafting
\n
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
\n
• Strong communication and client care skills
\n
• A proactive, team-focused approach and the confidence to use your own initiative
\n
• Relevant legal qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential
\n
