FLT Driver

Location: HeyshamPay Rate: £13.50 per hour, this is a temp to perm role after 12 weeksShift: 8 Hours | Start Time 3:00am or 4:00am

We are recruiting for an experienced FLT Warehouse Operative to join a busy logistics operation in Heysham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment where teamwork, efficiency and attention to detail are key.

The shift starts early, with the main focus on ensuring all outbound vehicles are loaded and ready for departure by 8:00am. If you thrive under pressure and like being part of a hardworking team, we'd love to hear from you.

• Operating an FLT safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
\n
• Loading and unloading trailers and delivery vehicles.
\n
• Scanning freight accurately in and out of the depot.
\n
• Ensuring all consignments are handled and processed correctly.
\n
• Loading vehicles to meet tight dispatch deadlines.
\n
• Assisting with warehouse housekeeping and maintaining a safe working environment.
\n
• Clearing and organising the warehouse once vehicles have been dispatched.
\n

• A valid FLT Licence is essential.
\n
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
\n
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role.
\n
• Strong attention to detail when scanning and handling freight.
\n
• Reliable, punctual and able to work early morning shifts.
\n
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
\n
