Senior Electronics Engineer\n
Location: £35,000 - £55,000 Per Annum + Excellent Benefits.
The Role: \nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to join an innovative engineering and manufacturing business. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will play a key role in the design, development and continuous improvement of electronic products, supporting projects from initial concept through to production and customer delivery.
\nThis is a varied, hands-on role offering the opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle while collaborating with engineering, production and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities: \n- \n
- Design and develop analogue and digital electronic circuits and PCBs. \n
- Support products throughout the full lifecycle, from concept and prototyping to production and ongoing improvements. \n
- Review and redesign existing electronic products to meet current quality, safety and regulatory standards. \n
- Carry out fault finding to component level and support product testing and validation. \n
- Produce technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, build instructions and test procedures. \n
- Ensure products comply with relevant UK, EU and international standards. \n
- Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to support production and resolve technical issues. \n
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and new product development. \n
- Provide technical guidance and communicate complex engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. \n
The successful candidate will have:

- Degree (or equivalent) in Electronics Engineering. \n
- Strong experience in analogue and digital PCB design. \n
- Experience with power supplies, DC motor controls and battery chargers. \n
- Excellent fault-finding skills to component level. \n
- Experience using laboratory test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters and power supplies. \n
- Knowledge of UK, EU and relevant industry standards. \n
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills. \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative engineering team. \n

- Experience with PCB design software such as EasyPC. \n
- Knowledge of Assembler, BASCOM or FlowCode programming. \n
- Experience working within a manufacturing or product development environment. \n
- CSCS, IPAF or Health & Safety qualifications. \n

A full UK driving licence is required, along with a willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and overseas.
