Sales Executive - Recruitment Campaigns
Job Description
Fully Remote
\n£15 per hour + 10% commission
\nPart-time – 10 hours per week, flexible
\n12-month fixed-term contract with an initial four-week probationary period
\nPotential to increase to 15 hours per week based on performance
\nBuild a Client Base From Scratch | High Autonomy | Opportunity to Prove Yourself
\nNo inherited client desk. No warm leads. No rigid sales script.
\nE Junior Recruitment is an independent recruitment business providing hands-on recruitment campaign management to SMEs. We help employers attract, screen and shortlist candidates for roles including administration, customer service, contact centre, finance, HR and digital marketing.
\nWe are looking for a confident and resourceful Sales Executive to generate new clients for the service.
\nPrevious recruitment or B2B sales experience would be useful, but it is not essential. You may already be an experienced salesperson, or you may simply believe you have the communication skills, commercial instinct and determination to succeed.
\nWhat matters most is your ability to present a credible plan, work independently and demonstrate your potential through real activity and results.
\nThe Role
\nYou will work directly with the owner to build a new client base from scratch.
\nYour responsibilities will include:
\n- \n
- Identifying SMEs with current or recurring recruitment needs \n
- Researching suitable companies and decision-makers \n
- Contacting business owners, directors, HR professionals and hiring managers \n
- Generating opportunities through telephone, email, LinkedIn, networking or other suitable methods \n
- Introducing the recruitment campaign management service \n
- Understanding recruitment challenges and qualifying genuine opportunities \n
- Booking discovery meetings and following up professionally \n
- Supporting opportunities through to an agreed recruitment campaign \n
- Keeping clear records of activity, conversations and next steps \n
- Sharing market feedback and ideas to improve the sales approach \n
Your focus will be on winning new business. The owner will deliver the recruitment campaign once a client has been secured.
\nFreedom to Develop Your Approach
\nYou will not be required to follow one rigid script or use a single prospecting channel.
\nYou can choose suitable sectors, develop your own outreach strategy, test different messages and use your preferred mix of telephone, email, LinkedIn and networking.
\nAll communication must be honest, professional, legally compliant and appropriate for the E Junior Recruitment brand. Any paid tools or data purchases must be agreed in advance.
\nWho This Could Suit
\nThis role could suit you if you are:
\n- \n
- Confident approaching businesses without warm leads \n
- Comfortable speaking with decision-makers \n
- Naturally persuasive and able to build rapport \n
- Creative, resilient and commercially aware \n
- Organised and able to work independently \n
- Motivated by hourly pay and commission \n
- Keen to prove your ability rather than rely only on previous job titles \n
You do not need previous recruitment experience. Transferable experience from customer service, account management, recruitment, hospitality, networking, self-employment or other people-focused work may be relevant.
\nYou must, however, be comfortable starting conversations with businesses you do not already know. This is not an inbound sales role and will not suit someone expecting warm leads, close daily supervision or a script for every conversation.
\nWhat Success Looks Like
\nPerformance will be assessed on quality as well as volume, including:
\n- \n
- Suitability of businesses targeted \n
- Consistency of outbound activity \n
- Decision-makers reached \n
- Meaningful conversations generated \n
- Qualified meetings booked \n
- Genuine recruitment opportunities created \n
- New campaigns secured \n
- Follow-up, organisation and record keeping \n
- Ability to learn from feedback and objections \n
Securing a client during the first four weeks would be a strong result. Credible meetings, opportunities and a well-developed pipeline will also be considered.
\nPay and Contract
\nYou will receive £15 per hour for 10 hours per week, plus 10% commission on recruitment campaign fees received from clients you secure.
\nThis is a 12-month fixed-term contract with an initial four-week probationary period. Your performance will be assessed individually against clear expectations. There is no predetermined limit on how many successful applicants may continue.
\nIf you demonstrate that you can generate credible opportunities and contribute to regular new business, you will continue for the remainder of the contract. Strong performance may also lead to an increase to approximately 15 hours per week and a possible extension beyond 12 months.
\nWorking Environment
\n- \n
- Fully remote and flexible \n
- Direct access to the business owner \n
- High autonomy and no micromanagement \n
- Freedom to test your own ideas \n
You will need a reliable computer, telephone and internet connection.
\nSelection Process
\nShortlisted applicants will attend a brief interview. Candidates who progress will present a practical four-week plan covering the businesses they would target, the decision-makers and outreach channels they would use, and how they would generate and measure opportunities.
\nA strong, realistic strategy could secure you the opportunity even without previous recruitment sales experience.
