Parts Advisor – Join a Successful, Growing Motor Dealership

Salary: Up to £34,000 (DOE)

Monday - Friday 8.00am - 6.00pm

Are you an experienced Parts Advisor looking to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity to join a busy, well-established volume dealership in the Gatwick area, representing a popular automotive brand.

As a valued member of the Parts Department, you'll work alongside a knowledgeable and supportive team, ensuring the workshop receives the right parts efficiently while delivering excellent internal customer service.

What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of our Aftersales Team, you'll be the go-to expert for vehicle parts, providing exceptional support to both customers and colleagues.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing parts orders from start to finish, including receiving requests, identifying the correct parts, advising on pricing, and recommending additional products where appropriate.
\n
• Picking, packing, and dispatching orders accurately and efficiently, while keeping customers and technicians informed throughout the process.
\n
• Maintaining accurate stock control by recording stock movements and storing parts securely in line with manufacturer guidelines.
\n
• Supporting the growth of the parts department by identifying sales opportunities and assisting with promotions and marketing initiatives.
\n
• Delivering outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers, ensuring the highest standards are maintained at all times.
\n
• Keeping the parts department clean, organised, and safe, while maintaining attractive displays and an efficient working environment.
\n

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is organised, customer-focused, and passionate about delivering excellent service.

You'll ideally have:

\n
• Previous experience working within an automotive parts department, with a strong understanding of parts operations and customer service.
\n
• A full UK driving licence.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring orders, stock, and customer requests are processed accurately the first time.
\n
• A process-driven approach with the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards.
\n
• Strong communication skills, with the confidence to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
\n
• A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to manage your workload using your own initiative.
\n
• Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems, with full training provided on our in-house software.
\n
