3-Month Contract | Hybrid Working | Kent (Nr Maidstone)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Locum Lawyer to join a busy and supportive legal team on an initial 3-month contract.

\n

You will manage a varied caseload focusing on Housing and Homelessness Law, alongside general civil litigation matters, providing high-quality legal advice and representation to internal clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of housing, homelessness and litigation matters.
  • \n
  • Providing practical legal advice to clients and stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Drafting legal documents, pleadings and correspondence.
  • \n
  • Advising on policies, procedures and governance requirements.
  • \n
  • Supporting the wider legal team to deliver an efficient and professional service.
  • \n

About You

\n
    \n
  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or FCILEx with a current practising certificate.
  • \n
  • Experience handling housing and homelessness matters within local government or a similar environment.
  • \n
  • Confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.
  • \n
  • Strong drafting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • \n
