Production Operative

£13.92 per hour + Overtime + Bonus - Full-time, Permanent

Overall purpose of the job:

As part of the production team, manufacture product to specified standards to meet customer requirements.

Mixing

\n
• To follow the clearly defined work procedures for mixing.
\n
• To carry out clean downs in accordance with the work procedure.
\n
• Following full training, to operate the process control system for mixing product.
\n

Packing

\n
• To follow the work procedures for packing.
\n
• To follow all packing instructions as dictated by the protocol.
\n
• Complete all relevant paperwork in relation to the product being packed.
\n
• To manually pack up to 42 x 25kg bags per pallet continuously throughout the shift.
\n

Quality

\n
• To work within the clearly defined work procedures.
\n
• To follow all work instructions for the task in hand.
\n
• To report any defects to the line manager.
\n

Safety

\n
• To carry out all duties safely and with the highest concern for others on the site.
\n
• To work to current Health and Safety regulations and to wear appropriate safety equipment.
\n
• To be aware of handling instructions for Raw Materials and of Finished Product MSDS sheets
\n
• To alert the other staff when a safety issue is perceived.
\n

Team Work

\n
• To be a committed member of the Manton Wood production team; and to deputise for other team members when needed.
\n
• To carry out any reasonable task asked of you by your line manager that is for the benefit of the business.
\n

All training will be provided.

Job Type: Full-time, Permenant

Starting Salary: £27,146per year + Overtime + Yearly performance bonus

Hourly Rate:

Basic - £13.92 per hour

Overtime weekdays and Saturday £20.88 per hour

Overtime Sundays £27.84 per hour
