Dispatch Operative – Engineering Stores | Temp to Perm | £12.71 per HourPertemps is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company for an experienced Dispatch Operative to join their busy Stores and Dispatch team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous engineering stores or warehouse experience who is looking for a long-term role with the potential to secure a permanent position. Shift Pattern Monday to Friday (Rotating Shifts) 6:00am – 2:30pm 1:00pm – 10:00pm Pay: £12.71 per hour Key Responsibilities Accurately dispatch engineering products and materials. Book tools, materials and stock in and out using the company's stock control system. Unload incoming deliveries safely and efficiently. Store stock correctly within designated racking locations. Pick and prepare orders for dispatch. Maintain accurate stock records and complete all system transactions. Ensure all documentation is completed accurately. Follow all health and safety procedures and site rules at all times. Maintain a clean, organised and safe stores environment. Work independently as well as part of a busy engineering team. Essential Requirements Previous experience working within an engineering stores, dispatch or warehouse environment is essential. Experience booking tools, materials and stock in and out using a stock control or warehouse management system. Strong IT skills with confidence using computer-based inventory systems. Excellent communication and organisational skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload. Reliable with a proactive approach to work. Able to commute to site for the required shift times. What We Offer £12.71 per hour. Monday to Friday rotating shifts.
