Engineering Manager

As an Engineering Manager in the Central Belt of Scotland, you'll oversee the day-to-day engineering operations within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. Your role will ensure that engineering processes run smoothly and efficiently, supporting the overall performance of the business. Client Details This role is with an organisation based in the Central Belt of Scotland within the FMCG industry. Description Lead and manage a large engineering team (circa 30 heads) to deliver effective operations. Oversee maintenance schedules to ensure machinery and equipment are fully operational. Implement and monitor safety and compliance standards across all engineering activities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency. Manage budgets and resources effectively to meet operational goals. Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives. Analyse and report on engineering performance and KPIs. Provide technical expertise and leadership to resolve engineering challenges.Profile A successful Engineering Manager should have: Proven experience within the FMCG industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Solid understanding of engineering processes and maintenance practices. Knowledge of safety and compliance standards. Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.Job Offer Salary ranging from £80,000 to £90,000, dependent on the level of experience.
